Where Maternal Health Strategy Meets Real-World Outcomes

Unity Health Coaching was founded to solve one persistent problem in maternal and infant health: the gap between well-designed programs and measurable outcomes—especially for multicultural families.

I am a registered nurse, public health professional, and maternal health strategist with deep expertise in maternal and infant health, family planning, Healthy Start initiatives, multicultural health, leadership development, and program implementation. My career has been grounded in public health practice and systems leadership, with a strong focus on designing and managing programs that improve prenatal engagement, postpartum follow-up, and birth outcomes at the community and population levels.

As a Healthy Start Program Manager, I led and supported initiatives that required navigating complex environments—Medicaid systems, health departments, hospitals, community organizations, and multidisciplinary teams—while remaining accountable for results. This experience shaped my approach to maternal health: outcomes improve when programs are culturally aligned, operationally sound, and supported by strong leadership and clear implementation strategies.

Throughout my work, I have seen that many maternal health initiatives struggle not because of lack of intention, but because they fail to translate policy, quality metrics, and funding priorities into practical, on-the-ground execution. Unity Health Coaching was created to bridge that gap.

Our work is nurse-led, public-health-informed, and implementation-driven. We partner with Medicaid managed care organizations, health systems, Healthy Start coalitions, and public health programs to operationalize maternal and infant health priorities—aligning care management, leadership, and community systems to achieve measurable improvement.

We help organizations move beyond compliance toward intentional, culturally responsive strategies that improve maternal and infant outcomes—within 90 days and beyond.
